1) Who can join Request Parts as a partner?
Verified distributors, suppliers, manufacturers, and repair shops across Europe. You’ll provide basic company details and a valid registration number (e.g., KVK in NL).

2) How do I list my parts?
After approval, use your Distributor Dashboard to add or edit parts (title, brand, model, specs, price, stock, country). You can attach images and specify delivery estimates.

3) Can I respond to incoming part requests?
Yes. View public requests and send offers with price, ETA, stock, shipping notes, and images. Buyers compare offers by delivery time, country, and total cost.
Tip: Faster responses and clear ETAs improve win rate.
4) Is there a cost to join?
Registration and replying to requests are currently free. We may offer optional premium features (e.g., enhanced visibility, advanced analytics) in the future.
5) How can I track performance?
Your dashboard shows views, clicks, messages, replies, and win rate by part and by time range. Use these insights to tune pricing and delivery promises.
6) How do I communicate with customers?
Buyers can message you via the built-in Messages area after you submit an offer. Email alerts notify you of new messages; all conversations stay in your account.
7) Is my data safe? Are you GDPR compliant?
We follow privacy-by-design principles and maintain GDPR-aligned workflows for consent, access, and deletion. Pricing and internal messages are not shared with third parties.
8) What does verification include?
Basic company checks (registration details, contact data) and activity signals. Additional documentation (e.g., VAT number) may be requested for higher trust levels.
9) Can I import my catalog (CSV/API)?
Yes. Small catalogs: CSV upload. Larger/automated: REST API for items and stock. Webhooks can alert you to new requests. See /docs/ or /api/.
10) How do I keep stock & pricing accurate?
Update directly in the dashboard, re-upload CSVs, or sync via API on a schedule. Accurate stock and clear ETAs improve offer acceptance.
11) How are shipping, taxes, and returns handled?
Partners specify shipping options, delivery estimates, and return policies in their offers. VAT and invoicing terms are agreed between buyer and seller.
12) What items are not allowed?
Counterfeit goods, unsafe/illegal items, hazardous materials without proper compliance, and any item restricted by law or platform policy. Listings may be moderated or removed.
13) Do buyers see ratings or trust signals?
Buyers see profile verification and activity signals (e.g., response time). Over time, additional trust indicators may appear to reflect reliable performance.
14) Can my team share one account with roles?
You can invite colleagues and assign roles (e.g., catalog manager, sales responder) so multiple users can manage listings and requests securely.
15) How do notifications work?
Email alerts and in-app notifications for new requests, messages, and offer updates. You can adjust notification preferences in account settings.
16) How do I get help or report an issue?
