De DEHNshield is een meerpolige, vonkbruggebaseerde type 1 en type 2 gecombineerde bliksemstroom- en overspanningsbeveiliging (conform EN 61643-11), geoptimaliseerd voor toepassingen in woongebouwen en speciale toepassingen. Hij heeft een compact ontwerp met ruimtebesparende vonkbrugtechnologie waarbij slechts één module/pool wordt gebruikt. Dit apparaat beschermt tegen overspanning, zelfs bij directe blikseminslag, voor laagspanningsinstallaties van consumenten. Het voldoet aan de installatienormen binnen het concept bliksembeveiligingszone aan de grenzen van 0A - 2. Verdere specificaties zijn 4 polen, een maximale continue wisselspanning van 255V, een nominale wisselspanning van 230V en een veiligheidsniveau van 1,5kV voor L-N en N-PE. Het heeft ook een volgstroom bluscapaciteit van 25kA.
