De Eaton Industries MCCB vermogensschakelaar (NZM4) heeft een nominale continue stroom (Iu) van 800A en een nominale spanning van 690V. Hij biedt een instelbereik voor overstroombeveiliging tussen 400 - 800 A en voor kortsluiting is het instelbereik 1600 - 9600 A. De nominale onderbrekingscapaciteit (Icu) van het apparaat is 37 kA bij 400 V en 42 kA bij 480 V 60 Hz. Hij heeft een hoge schakelcapaciteit met een SCCR van 100 kA bij 480Y/277V 60 Hz. Het installatietype is een vaste vorm met een schroefverbinding. Hij voldoet aan de UL/CSA- en IEC-normen. De primaire beschermende functie is de bescherming van het systeem en de kabels.
