De Martin Kaiser 553 is een Europese stekker/connector van zwart plastic. Het ontwerp bevat een vrouwelijke contourplug. De nominale stroomcapaciteit van de connector is 250 A en de nominale spanning 16 V. Hij staat bekend om zijn duurzaamheid en schokbestendigheid en is uitgerust met een wartel en trekontlasting voor de kabel. Er is ook een koppelstekker zonder aarding, type C, ongeaarde contrastekker met contour, geschikt voor 5x13mm prikkabel, wordt geleverd met een deksel en is spatwaterdicht die voldoet aan de IP44-norm. De connector bevat verder een aangegoten wartel voor een kabel van 5x13 mm en is gemaakt van PVC, geschikt voor 250 V / 16 A en zwart van kleur.
