Hij is ontworpen voor een nominale spanning van 250 V en een stroom van 15 A. De stekker heeft een rond aardingscontact en een schroefaansluittechniek. De beschermingsgraad is IP20. De stekker is zwart van kleur en heeft een haakse insteekrichting. De stekker is compatibel met de BS 546 type M-systemen van Zuid-Afrika en India.
