Dit artikel is een Dehn-connector, speciaal ontworpen voor bliksembeveiliging. Hij is gemaakt van drukgegoten zink. Het type connector is een hulsverbinding waarmee twee ronde geleiders in de lengterichting kunnen worden verbonden. Elke geleider heeft een diameter van 8 mm. Het heeft geen oppervlaktebescherming, wat betekent dat het onbehandeld is. Voor de bevestiging worden zeskantige schroeven gebruikt. Het heeft met name een bliksemstroomcapaciteit van 100kA bij een impuls van 10/350 µs. Deze hulsconnector voldoet aan de EN 62561-1-normen en voor de installatie worden vier M6-schroeven gebruikt.
