Gepatenteerde "nul-hysterese" zorgt voor betrouwbaar schakelen zonder energie te verspillen; octrooi aangevraagd voor het principe van "lichtterugkoppelingscompensatie" voorkomt het effect dat de lampen herhaaldelijk "jagen" tussen aan en uit, als gevolg van een slechte installatie, waardoor opnieuw energieverspilling wordt voorkomen. Keuzeschakelaar met 4 standen: licht uit (handig voor vakanties); licht aan (handig voor installatie); standaarddrempel van 1 tot 80 lux; hoge drempel van 30 tot 1.000 lux. Voor de eerste drie werkcycli wordt de vertragingstijd (aan en uit) gereduceerd tot nul om de installatie te vergemakkelijken.
