De Dehn PHE III is een capacitieve spanningsdetector die wordt gebruikt voor het controleren van een veilige isolatie van de voedingsspanning op de werklocatie in alle polen van elektrische installaties, in overeenstemming met EN/IEC 61243-1 (DIN VDE 0682-411) en EN 50110-1 (DIN VDE 0105-100). Het is geschikt voor schakelinstallaties en bovengrondse leidingen, gemarkeerd als categorie "S". Het apparaat wordt geleverd met een universele tandwielkoppeling conform EN/IEC 60832 (DIN VDE 0682-211) en kan ook worden gebruikt in natte weersomstandigheden. Met een nominaal spanningsbereik van 10-30 kV en een totale lengte van 1110 mm biedt het zowel visuele als akoestische indicaties met een zelftestend element.
