De Gira E2 is een enkelvoudige inbouwdoos van kunststof met een diepte van 60,5 mm en een binnendiepte van 50 mm. Deze vierkante apparaatdoos is ontworpen voor installatie in metselwerk, meestal beveiligd met pleisterwerk, en bevat voorzieningen voor 4 ingangen, invoer aan de achterkant en bevestiging van schakelapparatuur door spreiding, met schroeven voor extra beveiliging. Ideaal voor vlakke installatie, compatibel met E2- en E22-schakelprogramma's. Naast deze doos is een standaard apparaatdoos (artikelnr. 289600) vereist voor vlakke montage . De apparaatdoos wordt in de inbouwdoos geïnstalleerd zoals een standaard inbouwdoos.
