Slechts vier spoelen zijn geschikt voor stuurspanningen tussen 24.. 500 V 50/60 Hz of 20. 500 V DC. NF-magneetrelais kunnen grote variaties in de regelspanning aan. Eén spoel kan worden gebruikt voor verschillende regelspanningen die wereldwijd worden gebruikt zonder dat de spoel moet worden verwisseld. NF magneetrelais hebben een ingebouwde overspanningsbeveiliging en hebben geen extra overspanningsonderdrukkers nodig.
