Het vaste kogelpunt heeft een hoek van 90° met een draadstift en zelfborgende moer, en dient als lijn- en aardaansluitpunt volgens EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) op de geleider en het aardaansluitsysteem. Het heeft een hoge mechanische sterkte dankzij de binnendraad. De maximale kortsluitstroom is 26,5 kA met dit schuin geplaatste vaste punt, vergezeld van een bout met schroefdraad. Dit apparaat is geschikt voor het aansluiten van kabelschoenen of rails volgens DIN 43673-1, met een maximale koperdoorsnede van 95 mm². Het aardings- en kortsluitpunt heeft een diameter van 25 mm.
