Het Dehn aardings-/kortsluitapparaat met vast punt en niet-afsnijdende gevormde schroefdraad biedt een hoge mechanische sterkte. Hij is voorzien van een schroefdraadbout en zelfborgende moer en is bestand tegen een maximale kortsluitstroom van 42 kA. Met een rechte constructie maakt het een aansluiting van de aarding en ringgroef van 16mm mogelijk. Dit aansluitpunt moet worden gebruikt in overeenstemming met EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) in het aardingssysteem. De maximale draaddoorsnede voor koper is 150 mm². De diameter van het vaste punt is 16 mm.
