De Dehn DEHNrapid overspanningsbeveiliging is ontworpen voor data- en M&R-toepassingen. Het is van het dataline LSA-beschermingstype, met 1 LSA-Plus-aansluiting. Hij heeft een impedantie van 0,005Ohm, een maximale restspanning van 0,5kV en een nominale ontlaadstroom (8/20) van 10kA. Een verandering in kleur geeft de status aan. Dit apparaat werkt als een bliksemstroomvoerend plug-in SPD-blok (10 paar) dat geschikt is voor de meeste toepassingen, en kan worden opgewaardeerd tot een gecombineerde bliksem- en overspanningsbeveiliging met behulp van een DRL-beschermplug. De geïntegreerde ontkoppelingsblokcontacten maken testen, meten en patchen mogelijk terwijl de beveiliging is aangesloten. Voor extra veiligheid zijn de driepolige gasontladingsbuizen voorzien van een visuele foutindicator.
