Dit artikel is een Hensel Mi-distributeurs inbouwunit met een vermogensschakelaar, en is een geïsoleerde laagspanningsschakelaarcombinatie in een kastconstructie volgens IEC 61439-2 voor wandmontage. De kasten moeten geschikt zijn voor installatie buitenshuis, rekening houdend met de invloed van de weersomstandigheden op de bedrijfsapparatuur. Kastdelen en deksel zijn gemaakt van slagvast polycarbonaat, halogeen- en siliconenvrij, kleur RAL 7035, met een doorzichtig deksel met snelsluitingen voor gereedschap. Het heeft een brandgedrag volgens DIN VDE 0471 deel 2 - gloeidraadtest bij 960°C, maximale waterabsorptie van 10 mg volgens DIN 53473. Als beschermingsmaatregel heeft het een dubbele isolatie, veiligheidsklasse II. Hij bevat een 3-polige automatische voedingsbehuizing, met beveiliging tegen overbelasting en kortsluiting, PE- en N-klemmen en een IP65-beschermingsgraad volgens de IEC 60 529-norm. De afmetingen zijn: hoogte 600mm x breedte 300mm x diepte 262mm.
