Deze Hensel Mi verdeler inbouwunit met netschakelaar voldoet aan de IEC 61439-2 normen voor wandinstallatie. Het is geschikt voor plaatsing buitenshuis en is uitgerust om weersinvloeden op operationele middelen op te vangen. De behuizing en het deksel zijn gemaakt van schokbestendig, halogeenvrij en siliconenvrij polycarbonaat in de kleur RAL 7035. Het transparante deksel heeft snelsluitingen voor het bedienen van gereedschap. Het brandgedrag van de eenheid voldoet aan DIN VDE 0471 Deel 2 - Gloeidraadtest 960 °C. De maximale waterabsorptie is 10 mg, volgens DIN 53473, en hij is dubbel geïsoleerd (beschermingsklasse II). De behuizing van de voedingsschakelaar is 4-polig en biedt bescherming tegen overbelasting en kortsluiting. Hij heeft een veiligheidsnorm van IP 65 volgens IEC 60 529 en meet 600x300x262 mm.
