Deze zelfontluchtende (3/2) afsluiter wordt gebruikt voor het op druk brengen en ontluchten van de pneumatische systemen. Het kan onafhankelijk of in combinatie met een FRL-assemblage worden gebruikt. Door snel te voorkomen dat lucht een deel van het gebruikte systeem bereikt, vergemakkelijken afsluiters het onderhoud van apparatuur zonder de rest van het systeem te beïnvloeden. Het gebruik van een zelfontluchtende klep is vaak wettelijk verplicht om te voorkomen dat niet-geautoriseerd personeel een machine onbedoeld onder druk zet. De klep heeft G 1/4 inch aansluitpoorten, het maximale debiet is 2300 l/min en de maximale werkdruk is 12 bar (174,0 psi). Een draaiknop wordt gebruikt om de klep te schakelen. De schroefdraadverbinding met de geluiddemper maakt een gekanaliseerde uitlaat mogelijk. Deze kogelkraan kan worden afgesloten met een hangslot (niet meegeleverd).
