Deze DN 32 EPDM expansieverbinding, PN 16, is een flexibele connector die is ontworpen om axiale, laterale en hoekige bewegingen in leidingen te absorberen, waardoor thermische uitzetting, verkeerde uitlijning en trillingen worden gecompenseerd. Het wordt vaak gebruikt in drinkwatersystemen, verwarmingsinstallaties en industriële toepassingen om de systeemintegriteit te waarborgen en de stress op verbonden componenten te verminderen. Het is gemaakt van EPDM-bellen en gegalvaniseerde staalflenzen. Geschikt voor temperaturen tot 90°C, vanaf 60°C vermindert de bedrijfsdruk. De maximale bedrijfsdruk is 16 bar tot +60 °C, 11 bar bij +80 °C en 6 bar bij +90 °C, met een barstdruk van 48 bar. Voor systemen met drukpieken of intermitterende belastingen moet de maximale bedrijfsdruk met 30% worden verlaagd om voortijdige slijtage te voorkomen.
