De Hensel telefoonaansluitstrip is een communicatieverdeler die is ontworpen voor de installatie van externe aansluitstrips. Het is getest op functiebehoud volgens DIN 4102 Deel 12, in combinatie met functiebehoudende kabels, en heeft een functiebehoud van 30 minuten en een klasse E 30-classificatie laten zien. Het is goedgekeurd onder algemene bouwtoezichtregel-86.1-37, eenvoudig te installeren met behulp van de meegeleverde pluggen en externe montagebeugels. Deze is geschikt voor binnenruimtes en beschermde buitenopstellingen, voldoet aan DIN VDE 0100, deel 737 en heeft een beschermingsgraad van IP 55 volgens IEC 60529, met geïntegreerde elastische afdichtingsmembranen. De testspanning is 100 Va.c en hij is gemaakt van staalplaat. Het is dubbel geïsoleerd (klasse II) en wordt geleverd in RAL 2003 pasteloranje.
