De Gira E2 is een drievoudige, rechthoekige inbouwdoos van kunststof die nodig is voor de vlakke installatie van schakelprogramma's E2 en E22 op een gemetselde wand. De doos heeft een diepte van 60,5 mm en een binnendiepte van 50 mm, waardoor montage in het metselwerk nodig is, eventueel met gips om de doos vast te zetten. Hij heeft 4 ingangen aan de achterkant en de schakelkast kan worden uitgespreid met schroeven. Naast deze doos heb je ook een standaard apparaatdoos (Artikelnr. 289800) nodig om de installatie te voltooien. Het installeren van de apparaatdoos in deze installatiedoos is hetzelfde als het installeren in een typische inbouwdoos.
