De Gira E2 viervoudige inbouwdoos is gemaakt van kunststof en is geschikt voor de installatie van een vlak montageframe procedureel vergelijkbaar met de schakelprogramma's E2 en E22 op een gemetselde wand. De doos heeft een diepte van 60,5 mm en een inwendige diepte van 50 mm. Hij heeft 4 inlaten en wordt geïnstalleerd in metselwerk door de inbouwdoos vast te zetten, bijvoorbeeld met pleisterwerk. Bijkomende apparaten kunnen in de inbouwdoos geïnstalleerd worden zoals in een gewone inbouwdoos. Het wordt bevestigd met spreidschakelmateriaal, schroeven en heeft een ingang aan de achterkant. Je hebt ook de gebruikelijke apparaatdoos (artikelnr. 289900) nodig voor een vlakke montage.
