Deze dimmer uit de System 3000-serie van Gira is geschikt voor het schakelen en dimmen van gloeilampen, HV-halogeenlampen, elektronische transformatoren voor halogeen- of LED-lampen, dimbare inductieve transformatoren voor halogeen- of LED-lampen, HV LED- of spaarlampen. De bediening gebeurt via een impulsdrukknop (maak contact), een Systeem 3000 2-draads of 3-draads impulsgever of een Systeem 2000 2-draads impulsgever. Bovendien wordt de dimmer in overeenstemming met EN 60715 op een DIN-rail in de schakelkast gemonteerd.
