Deze potentiometer uit de System 2000-serie van Gira is een elektronische potentiometer met schakelfunctie, geschikt voor elektronische voorschakelapparaten of Tronic-transformatoren met een stuuringang van 1-10 V. Door op de bedieningsknop te drukken, krijgt de stroomstootschakelaar een puls en wordt de VSA in- en uitgeschakeld. Door te draaien pas je de helderheid aan. De dimmerpotentiometer wordt geleverd met zekering. Om de dimmer af te maken heb je nog andere onderdelen nodig, zoals een draaiknop en een afdekraam.
