Deze uitbreidingsunit uit het Systeem 3000 van Gira is geschikt voor het aansturen van de uitbreiding van basiselementen met ingangsuitbreidingsunit uit Systeem 3000. Het apparaat is dus combineerbaar met de Gira dimmers 540000, 540100, 540300, 540500, 540600, 236500, 244000 en 245500. Bovendien moet het secundaire apparaat 3-draads worden aangesloten. Het hulpapparaat moet worden geïnstalleerd in een inbouwdoos volgens DIN 49073. Deze Systeem 3000 zij-unit 540900 vervangt de Gira zij-unit 033500. De Gira Systeem 3000 zij-unit kan worden gecombineerd met: Systeem 3000 bevestigingselement anan nu.
