Deze Belimo Energy Valve bestaat uit een 2-weg gekarakteriseerde regelklep, een volumetrische debietmeter, temperatuursensoren en een actuator. De klep is gemaakt van messing en heeft een EPDM-afdichting. De diameter van de boring van de klep is DN 32 en de poortmaat is Rp x G 1 1/4 inch en 1 1/2 inch met binnendraad. Met zijn geïntegreerde karakterisatieschijf zorgt hij voor een gelijk percentage debietregeling, waardoor een nauwkeurige en consistente regeling van het vloeistofdebiet mogelijk is. Het maximale drukverschil is 3.5 bar. De klep kan werken tussen -10 en 120 °C (14 tot 248 °F). De Kv-waarde van de klep is 11,4 m3/u, wat overeenkomt met een Cv-waarde van 13,19 gpm. De actuator heeft een voedingsspanning van 24 V AC/DC nodig. De actuator ondersteunt BACnet MSTP/Modbus RTU/MP-Bus communicatieprotocollen en biedt nauwkeurige positieterugkoppeling in het bereik van 0-10 V of 2-10 V DC, wat zorgt voor een nauwkeurige en responsieve regeling in diverse toepassingen. Met de draaiknop kun je de veiligheidspositie instellen tussen 0% en 100% in stappen van 10%. Deze regelt de draaihoek. Als de stroom uitvalt, gaat de actuator naar de gekozen veilige positie. De actuator heeft een IP54-beschermingsgraad. De doorstroomrichting, aangegeven met een pijl op de behuizing, is van het grootste belang om schade aan de kogelkraan te voorkomen.
