De videomultiplexer is ontworpen om videosignalen van deurstations, DCS-camera gateways en DCS-IP gateways te bundelen. Hij kan videosignalen van drie deurstations met kleurencamera's samenvoegen en wanneer twee multiplexers worden gebruikt, kunnen signalen van maximaal vijf deurstations worden samengevoegd. Het apparaat is ongelooflijk veelzijdig en biedt de optie voor opbouwmontage, inbouwmontage of als DRA-apparaat met de meegeleverde DRA-adapter. Wat het gemak nog groter maakt, is dat er geen verdere configuratie nodig is tijdens het opstarten, omdat het systeem zich automatisch aanpast aan de bestaande netvoeding.
