Deze soft-start klep zorgt voor een gecontroleerde verhoging van de stroomafwaartse druk bij het opstarten en kan indien nodig worden geloosd om de systeemdruk snel te verlagen. Bij een druk van ongeveer 50% van de ingangsdruk schakelt de aanloopklep over op maximale doorlaat. De drukopbouw kan worden vertraagd of versneld met een stelschroef. Een zachte start is nodig als te snel bewegende cilinders tijdens het opstarten van de machine beknelling of schade kunnen veroorzaken. De klep heeft G 3/8 inch en 1/2 inch poorten en het maximale debiet is 3400 l/min. De spoelspanning is 230 V AC en het nominale vermogen 3 VA. Het ingangsdrukbereik loopt van 2,5 tot 10 bar (36,25 tot 145,0 psi). Voor een opstartklep moet een afsluiter worden geïnstalleerd.
