Het voldoet aan de normen van EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) en kan zowel op de geleider als op het aardingssysteem worden gebruikt. De hoge mechanische sterkte is te danken aan het feit dat de schroefdraad niet wordt ingesneden, waardoor deze geschikt is voor het bevestigen van kabelschoenen of het aansluiten van stroomrails volgens DIN 43673-1. Het artikel kan een maximale kortsluitstroom aan van 33,5 kA, heeft een rechthoekig ontwerp en een schroefdraad van 20 mm.
