Dit is een ringgroef met een vast punt, een diameter van 16 mm en een binnendraad, ontworpen voor gebruik als een aardaansluitpunt volgens EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100) op het aardingssysteem. Het heeft een hoge mechanische sterkte dankzij de niet-snijdende gevormde draad. De maximale kortsluitstroom is 42kA en het heeft een rechte constructievariant. Met een inwendige schroefdraadverbinding is deze ontworpen om de aardings- en kortsluitringgroef van 16 mm aan te sluiten. Hij ondersteunt een maximale koperdraaddoorsnede van 150 mm².
