De DEHNventil is een meerpolige, modulaire overspanningsbeveiliging, type 1 en type 2, volgens EN 61643-11, met vonkbruggebaseerde gecombineerde bliksemstroombeveiliging. Het bestaat uit een basis en insteekbare beschermingsmodules. Met een maximale continue spanning van AC 264 V, een nominale spanning van AC 230 V en DC 255 V biedt het een veiligheidsniveau van 1,5 kV. Hij is voorzien van RADAX Flow follow stroombegrenzing voor maximale beschikbaarheid, waardoor hij eindapparatuur kan beschermen. Ontworpen voor het beschermen van laagspanningsinstallaties van consumenten en robuust tegen piekspanningen en zelfs directe blikseminslag. Voldoet aan het concept bliksembeveiligingszone aan de grenzen van 0A - 2.
