Het Eaton Industries MCCB-lekstroomrelais is een optioneel accessoire voor de NZM-serie vermogensschakelaars. Het biedt een flexibele en eenvoudige montage dankzij modulaire functiegroepen. Opvallende kenmerken zijn goedkeuring volgens de IEC/EN 60947-2 normen, geschiktheid voor driefasige en eenfasige systemen en pulsstroomgevoeligheid volgens het kernbalansprincipe. Hij past specifiek op de 4-polige vermogensschakelaar NZM2-4 en de lastscheider N2-4, ongeacht de netwerkspanning Ue van 280 tot 690 V bij 50/60 Hz. Het bevat een hulpcontact (1s, 1 N/C geïntegreerd) en een resetknop. Dit relais kan niet worden gebruikt met plug-in units, geïsoleerde behuizingen of montagesets voor hoofdschakelaars. Het is eerder ontworpen voor montage op een zijpaneel met een beugel. De nominale breekcapaciteit van de kortsluiting is afhankelijk van de gemonteerde NZM2, terwijl het gebruik van een lastscheider N2 afhankelijk is van de te gebruiken hulpzekering. Het is ideaal voor gebruik met NZM2-4, N2-4.
