De Eaton Industries NZM2 is een 4-polige vermogensautomaat met een nominale ononderbroken stroom van 250 A. De nominale stroom is gelijk aan de nominale ononderbroken stroom en hetzelfde geldt voor het installatietype, dat vast is. Met een schakelcapaciteit van 400/415 V 50 Hz en een nominale ontlaadcapaciteit van 50 kA werkt deze eenheid bij een nominale spanning van 690 V. Hij is ontworpen voor schroefaansluiting en voldoet aan de IEC-normen. Hij beschikt over overbelastingsbeveiliging instelbaar van 125 - 250 A en vertraagde kortsluiting instelbaar van 250 - 2500 A; en onmiddellijke kortsluitingsbereiken tot 3000 A. De beschermende functie strekt zich uit tot systemen, kabels, selectiviteit en generatorbeveiliging.
