Deze actieve Frost-monitor van Belimo is ontworpen om consistent temperaturen te meten binnen een bereik van 0 en 15 °C (32 en 59 °F), met een standaardinstelling van 5 °C (41 °F). Het heeft een capillair van 2 meter. Deze vorstbewaking werkt op een voedingsspanning van 24 V AC. Het uitgangssignaal voor de vorstbeveiligingsschakelaar is een omschakeling, terwijl het algemene uitgangssignaal 0 tot 10 V is. De vorstbewaking zorgt voor een betrouwbare schakeling met een minimale schakelstroom van 100 mA bij 12 V AC. De vorstbewaking heeft een beschermingsgraad van IP42. De vorstmonitor heeft een LED-display met een segmentweergave van 2 cijfers. Het is ontworpen om de temperatuur van water- en luchtverwarmers in ventilatie- en airconditioningsystemen te bewaken en vorstschade aan verwarmingsregisters te voorkomen. Met een actieve capillaire buis signaleren de vorstbewakers continu het risico op vorst door een 1-polige potentiaalvrije omschakeling.
