De buskoppelknop is een waterbeschermd opbouwsysteem dat operationeel compatibel is met het KNX-systeem. Het biedt een interface tussen het systeem en de gebruiker en kan worden geprogrammeerd om verschillende functies weer te geven: schakelen, dimmen, jaloezie, waardezender 1 byte of scènehulpeenheid. Hiermee kunnen parameters worden ingesteld voor het indrukken en loslaten van knoppen, waardoor bewerkingen zoals AAN/UIT schakelen en waarden wijzigen mogelijk worden. Bij eenpuntsbediening kan alleen de onderkant van de wip bediend worden. Deze structuur bevat ook een rode LED die kan worden ingesteld als oriëntatieverlichting, activeringsweergave of statusweergave.
