De buskoppelingsknop is een waterbeschermd component (IP44) ontworpen voor het KNX-systeem en biedt een gebruikersinterface voor 2-voudige bediening en tweepuntsfunctionaliteit. Met dit apparaat kan een reeks functies interactief worden bediend, waaronder schakelen, dimmen, jaloezie, 1-byte waardetransmissie en scènes hulpunit; elk met configureerbare opdrachtreacties - zo kunnen parameters bij indrukken worden ingesteld op AAN, UIT, WIJZIGEN of geen reactie. Bovendien kan de wip zowel aan de boven- als aan de onderkant worden gebruikt bij tweepuntsbediening. Het concept is geschikt voor zowel knop- als tuimelbedieningsconcepten.
