Deze pneumatische controle-eenheid van Bürkert (type 8697) wordt gemonteerd bovenop Bürkert type 21XX ventielen met ELEMENT 50 mm actuators. De luchtstroom wordt geregeld met een 24V DC signaal. De besturingseenheid vervangt een magneetklep die anders zou worden gebruikt. Het toestel heeft G 1/8 inch poorten met binnendraad om de luchtleidingen aan te sluiten en een mannelijke M12 stekker voor de elektrische aansluiting. Externe slangen zijn niet nodig, omdat het apparaat een interne luchtgeleiding heeft. LED's geven de status van het apparaat aan. De eenheid is ideaal voor gebruik in de levensmiddelen-, dranken- en farmaceutische industrie dankzij de gemakkelijk te reinigen behuizing, de IP65/67-bescherming en de chemisch bestendige materialen. In combinatie met Burkert ELEMENT actuators zorgt de unit voor veerkamerbeluchting die vervuiling van de actuatorkamer vanuit de omgeving voorkomt. Deze unit is UL gecertificeerd.
