De tape wordt gebruikt om compensatoren, machinebehuizingen, apparaatflenzen, hand- en mangaten af te dichten, evenals flenzen met grote en complexe geometrieën. Geschikt voor temperaturen van -240 tot 270°C. Het werkdrukbereik is -0.95 tot 40bar. Bij 40 bar is de vlakafdichtingsband geschikt voor temperaturen van -240 tot 150°C.
