Getting started

Registration and partner accounts

Everything you need before creating a distributor, shop or manufacturer account.

Request.Parts is designed for businesses that sell, distribute or manufacture spare parts. You can register as a Distributor, Shop or Manufacturer, depending on your business activity.

You should prepare your full name, business email, company name, country, legal business form, company identifier such as VAT or another national registration number, and your company address. A website and phone number can also be added.

The business form helps Request.Parts identify the correct company registration format for your country. After you choose your country and legal form, the expected identifier type is filled automatically where available.

No. A company identifier is required during partner registration because it is used as part of the business verification process.

You can submit a partner registration if your country is available in the registration form. Business verification requirements may differ depending on the country and available company data.

Your partner account is created and then reviewed for verification. You will receive an email after registration, and access to distributor functionality depends on the account being verified and active.

Verification

Business verification and account status

How partner verification works and what happens when an account is pending or inactive.

Verification helps improve marketplace trust and reduces fake or incomplete supplier profiles. It also helps buyers understand that a supplier has submitted identifiable business information.

The distributor login checks whether the partner account is verified. If the account is still awaiting verification, distributor access remains restricted until approval.

Distributor access can be restricted if an account is marked blocked, inactive, rejected or suspended. If you believe the status is incorrect, contact Request.Parts support.

Yes. If the submitted company information cannot be verified clearly, additional information may be required before the partner profile is approved.

Yes. Approved partners can manage company and profile information from the distributor area. Some important business or verification-related changes may require another review.

Plans

Plans, products and subscriptions

How partner plans work and what happens when you choose additional product capacity.

The registration system currently supports Shop, Distributor and Manufacturer account types.

The registration page currently uses €9.99/month for Shop, €19.99/month for Distributor and €79.99/month for Manufacturer. Pricing shown during registration is the amount that should be treated as current at the moment of signup.

The current registration configuration adds €15.00/month for Shop and €25.00/month for Distributor when Unlimited Products is selected. Manufacturer currently includes unlimited products without an additional unlimited-products charge.

If you open registration from a plan link, the registration page shows the selected account type and calculated monthly price before submission.

The registration page can display the selected plan and a PayPal payment option when a paid plan has been selected. Account verification and subscription handling remain separate parts of the partner onboarding flow.

Listings

Parts, product listings and API sync

How suppliers can publish parts and keep marketplace data useful for buyers.

A useful listing should include a clear product name, brand, model or compatibility information, category, price when available, stock status, product image and an accurate description.

Request.Parts is designed to support supplier product indexing and API or feed-based synchronization. The available integration method depends on your distributor account and current marketplace tools.

Buyers often search by exact part number, OEM number, model or manufacturer. Accurate structured data improves search matching and reduces incorrect compatibility requests.

Partners can use the distributor tools available to their account to manage product information. If automated synchronization is not configured, manual listing workflows may be used.

You should keep stock and availability information current. If a part is discontinued or unavailable, update the listing status instead of leaving outdated availability visible to buyers.

Product records can contain an external page where supported. External links should point to the relevant supplier or product page and should not be misleading.

Buyer requests

Buyer requests and communication

How Request.Parts helps buyers contact suppliers and request hard-to-find parts.

Buyers can use the Request a Part workflow to describe the part they need. Supplier visibility and distributor tools are designed to help partners discover and respond to relevant requests.

A strong reply should confirm compatibility, live stock, final price, shipping cost, estimated dispatch time and any important part-version details.

Product pages can provide a contact workflow when a distributor is connected to the listing. Logged-in users can send a message where the contact feature is available.

Ask the buyer for the exact device or vehicle model, year or revision, old part number, OEM or SKU, photos when useful, and delivery country before confirming compatibility.

Yes. When a buyer requests multiple units, you can provide quantity availability, unit price, discount information and lead time in your response.

Profile & location

Company profile, address and map

How business location information is used on Request.Parts.

The address is used for business verification, location accuracy and delivery context. The registration form also converts the address into latitude and longitude for map-related functionality.

The registration design is intended to store the exact address securely while public pages should show only the information required for trust, supplier identification and delivery context.

The map helps confirm that the entered address resolves to the correct geographic location. Latitude and longitude are generated from the address lookup.

Check the street, street number, postcode, city and country fields first. If the address is correct but geocoding is inaccurate, contact support before relying on the saved coordinates.

Where country information is connected to a listing or distributor, Request.Parts can display supplier or product country context to help buyers evaluate shipping and availability.

Security

Login, passwords and account access

Account access and security basics for partner accounts.

Distributors can use the dedicated distributor login at /distributors/login.php. The main site login can also detect a linked distributor profile and route the account to the distributor dashboard.

Use the Forgot password link on the distributor login page. Follow the recovery process connected to your distributor account email.

Yes. The current account structure links users.id to distributors.user_id. The distributor profile keeps its own distributor ID while the linked user ID is used for the authenticated account session.

If you are already logged in with a distributor role and a valid distributor ID is present in your session, the distributor login page redirects you to the dashboard automatically.

Contact support if your user account exists but the distributor profile is missing or no longer linked correctly. The account needs a valid distributor profile for distributor dashboard features.
