Remote Monitoring and Control You can control and check your SmartSolar MPPT charger from anywhere by connecting it to your smartphone or another device using the VictronConnect App. If your setup is connected to the internet through a Cerbo GX device, you can use the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) to access your MPPT charger from anywhere in the world. Both VictronConnect and VRM are free to use. If you don't have an internet connection nearby, you can possibly monitor your MPPT charger by connecting the GlobalLink 520. Load output The intelligent Load output function prevents running batteries 'flat'. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects a load preventing excessive drain on your battery. The intelligent SmartSolar will attempt a 100% recharge every day. If it can't - during periods of poor conditions - it raises the disconnect voltage, daily, until it achieves a full charge. We call this feature BatteryLife because it maintains the health and longevity.
